The devastating effects of climate-related events over the last month or so have demonstrated how vulnerable we all are. Being aware of and understanding risk, along with effective risk management, helps reduce vulnerability.

While the physical environment has been at the forefront of our minds recently, vulnerability comes in many forms.

Our upcoming Health and Safety Roadshow provides the tools for you to manage risk in your workplace. Over two hours, you’ll hear from experts in their field on ways to avoid, mitigate, transfer and accept risk across six topical areas.

You’ll learn about the most common health and safety risks at work; enhanced cyber security; psychosocial risk assessments; pre-employment protocols; creating inclusive and supportive teams, and how to support at-risk team members; and, last but not least, sustainability risk.

We’ve enlisted ZX Security, Umbrella, Habit Health, Victim Support and Groov to provide specialised guidance on areas they are both passionate and knowledgeable about. These organisations have provided invaluable support to overwhelmed communities in recent times.

As well as the presentations, you’ll hear about upcoming legislative changes, and share in a Q&A with all the presenters, facilitated by our MC, to wrap things up.

This year’s Roadshow was postponed in the wake of the cyclone.  We’ve updated the content to reflect that event, and we invite you to join us in May to consider the risks to your local communities’ social, cultural, environmental and economic situation.

Stick around after the roadshow for an in depth 2hr workshop focusing on how to conduct a psychosocial risk assessment in your workplace and improve the mental health & wellbeing of your workforce.
